How it works

A balloon catheter is advanced to the narrowing and inflated to widen the artery.

Before the procedure, medical examination, appropriate imaging and medication review are performed.

Recovery depends on procedure type. Instructions on activity, dressings, compression, medication and follow-up are given by the doctor.
